About Us

Accessible Adventures is a trek and tours company based in Thamel, Kathmandu. Established in 2012, we have been providing high-quality tourism services for travelers wishing to explore Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Tibet. What began with a small group of passionate enthusiasts has grown into a trusted travel company, while our love for travel and dedication to excellence remains unchanged.

With over a decade of experience in tourism, we work with highly experienced and knowledgeable guides and travel consultants to ensure every Himalayan adventure is enjoyable, safe, and meaningful. Our trips are carefully planned to showcase not only the natural beauty of the region but also its rich culture, history, traditions, and local cuisine—offering a truly holistic travel experience.

We specialize in tailor-made vacation packages for seasoned travelers and adventure seekers, combining flights, hotels, transportation, and attractions into seamless journeys. Our goal is to allow you to relax and enjoy your vacation while we take care of every detail, going the extra mile to turn your adventure dreams into reality.

Founded by Hari Kumar Shrestha, Accessible Adventures was built on a vision of providing ethical, responsible, and deeply immersive travel experiences. With more than 30 years of personal travel experience, including high-altitude trekking and peak climbing across major destinations like Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp, we understand the challenges travelers, guides, and porters face and plan our trips accordingly.

We treat our clients like family while maintaining the highest professional standards. Our guides and porters are fairly compensated and well cared for, reflecting our commitment to ethical travel practices. Having represented Nepali tourism on international platforms, we understand the expectations of global travelers and take pride in offering an experience defined by knowledge, empathy, responsibility, and genuine passion for travel.

Resilience in Stillness

When the world stopped, we turned inward. We supported our guides and porters through the crisis and focused on training and upgrading our safety protocols for the future.
